CUSTOM-BUILT AIR HANDLING UNIT NETWORK

The proper functioning of your
ventilation system
depends on the quality of your ventilation system.

MyDATEC is fully involved in :

  • clothing,
  • sizing
  • and the constitution of your ventilation system

Purpose:
to your ventilation system
The performance and calibration it requires.

In this regard, MyDATEC guarantees with the French thermal regulation by taking in hand all the steps preceding the commissioning of your VMC. Our technical experts will perform :

Each step requires great precision and you will see below an overview of our specifications to meet this requirement.

WHY A TIGHT AIR NETWORK ?

Before tackling the steps necessary for the realization of the CMV network, it is advisable to evoke the interest to optimize the sealing of the air circuit. This, whether it is :

Indeed, the VMC network constitutes the circuit of passage of the air entering and leaving the gas. By conveying air, leaks can occur if the air network is not well sealed.

THE RISKS IN CASE OF POOR SEALING OF THE NETWORK

The air network conveys both exhaust air and supply air.

These air flows can be loaded with pollutants, humidity, germs, but also energy. Indeed, the presence of air leaks can :

  • contaminate the air already treated
  • cause infiltration
  • cause a loss of aerothermal energy
  • lead to a relative decrease in airflow
  • generate an increase in the energy bill due to the overconsumption of electricity.

The air quality is not optimal and the humidity will eventually alter the facades.

The watertightness of the air network is imperative for :

  • avoid excessive humidity,
  • guarantee hygiene and indoor air quality,

In addition, the volume of air decreases as it travels through the ducts, which gradually reduces the flow rate captured. This inevitably leads to intensive use of the fan, hence the additional electricity costs.

Call on our technicians for a diagnosis of the watertightness of your old installation. They will tell you if you need to bring the system up to standard or if you need
completely replace the existing HVAC system.

ALL THE CONDITIONS ARE THERE TO OPTIMIZE YOUR HVAC NETWORK!

From the personalized study to the layout of the ventilation network, including the making of your VMC kit MyDATEC takes care of the design and optimization of your ventilation system. This is to ensure its proper functioning and durability.

We intervene at all stages from the dimensioning of the aeraulic network to the supply of the installation kit of thermodynamic double flow ventilation.

PERSONALIZED STUDY AND LAYOUT OF THE AIRFLOW NETWORK

Based on the plan of your building, our team of experts will define the aeraulic network taking into account

  • of the insufflation and extraction duct
  • of the VMC monobloc
  • length and type of conduit (circular)
  • junctions necessary to adapt to the format (vertical and horizontal ducts) and to the components of the air network

Network study

The technical team will also dimension the circuit, define the diameters of the ducts, the branches or the air inlets and outlets. The structure of the network must take into account the layout of the building, the organization of the space (location of technical and dry rooms, number of rooms), the volume, the surface area of the building or the quality of the insulation.

Calculation of the pressure drop

To do this, we calculate the pressure drop from a diagram and a formula. This calculation will help us determine the shortest and least hilly path to install the conduits. Here, the objective is to define the most suitable circuit to reduce energy and pressure losses.

This depreciation is unavoidable when the air flow passes through elbows, connections and junctions in the circuit. On the other hand, this calculation makes it possible to determine the good aeraulic diagram to limit the losses of load.

The calculation of pressure drop (ΔP) takes into account:

  • the length L of the conduit (expressed in m)
  • the density ρ of the air (expressed in kg/m3)
  • the internal diameter D of the conduit (expressed in m)
  • the average air speed V (expressed in m/s)

Once the dimensions have been obtained, the technical team will be able to draw the detailed plan of the aeraulic network by explaining the different passages of the ducts.

MyDATEC also defines the composition of the network and the positioning of each element.

In addition, the optimization of the circuit must also be done in such a way as to minimize the space requirement. For this, we also study the possibilities of installation in the attic.

SUPPLY OF AIR CONDITIONING KIT AND ASSEMBLY PLAN

During the installation of your CMV system, we provide you with an assembly plan detailing all the connections, from the return air ducts to the exhaust air ducts via the CMV central unit.
We provide all the accessories to connect the circuit. The kit includes the essentials:
● the distribution box,
● the sheaths ,
● the
VMC grilles,

● the
extract and insufflation outlets .

In order to guarantee a good sealing of the circuit up to the terminals, we prefer flexible connections. Flexible and waterproof cuffs will also be delivered.

EXTRACTION AND INSUFFLATION UNITS

These boxes, installed in the wall, play a key role in the airflow system.

In fact, the mouths suck the air in (insufflation) or out (extraction). The simple flow CMVs use simple air inlets instead of these registers.

Note that these vents are protected by a
VMC sheath
. Our airflow plan also describes the location of these air inlets and outlets.

In addition, we will define the number of inlets required according to the number of rooms to be ventilated.
