THE MyDATEC PRODUCT
The MyDATEC system is a ventilation system, which by thermodynamic recovery on the extracted air, brings a heating or cooling power.
The MyDATEC system is above all a ventilation system. It is from this function that the product will be sized.
OPERATION
The MyDATEC system has 3 operating modes:
Ventilation mode | Freely configurable airflow rates for exhaust and supply |
Heating mode | Exhaust and supply air flow rates ≥ Nominal flow rates (for example: 200 m3/h for SMART+ 200V) |
Cooling mode | Exhaust and supply air flow rates ≥ Nominal flow rates (for example: 200 m3/h for SMART+ 200V) |
When the touch screen detects a heating or cooling demand, the equipment automatically switches to heating or cooling mode. The air quality sensor also provides a second control point.

SIZING
AERAULIC DIMENSIONING
The first step is to select the right machine according to the requirements of the ventilation regulations. In housing, the regulation in force is the decree of March 1982. To help you, you have at your disposal the Excel file below and the decree of March 1982 relating to the ventilation of housing.

In addition, since the MyDATEC system provides ventilation, it is important to take into account the correct air exchange rate to provide this heat output.
These data allow us to define the power curves as a function of the outside air temperature.
The power required must be determined according to the characteristics of your building but also according to the air exchange rate of MyDATEC. The power supplied by the MyDATEC system is constant regardless of the outside temperature.
This shows the need to provide power reserve to the MyDATEC system. You can note that the lower the heat loss of your home, the lower the power reserve will be. The following power reserves can be mentioned.

AVAILABLE COOLING POWER
The MyDATEC system is also reversible, which makes it possible to provide cooling capacity according to the table below.
As in heating mode, it is important to take into account the right air renewal rate which allows to bring this cooling power.

TECHNICAL DATA HEATING
In heating mode, the MyDATEC system has the unique feature of increasing its performance when the outside temperature drops. This results in a better COP when it is -7°C outside.
For example, you will find below the evolution of the COP according to the outside temperature for the SMART 200V machine.
