Hello,<\/p>\n

In August 2010, I replaced a 30 years old double flow ventilation (AEROPLAST RX 760) by a MyDATEC RT200H unit.<\/p>\n

The MyDATEC kit was very well packaged and was delivered to me within the announced time frame.
\nI installed the system in August, without any difficulty, thanks to the documentation provided and the responsiveness of the GAC MyDATEC specialists in answering questions asked by phone or e-mail. It is within the reach of anyone with a technical background and some knowledge of mechanics and electricity.<\/p>\n

I noticed the effectiveness of the system this fall because I turned on the existing heating (electric convectors and radiant heaters) much later than in previous years while maintaining a temperature of 19 to 20\u00b0C in 120m of housing.
\nWith the heater running, I also notice better temperature uniformity and less of a cool air feel than with the old system.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, it turns out that with the cold weather we have just experienced, the operation is disturbed by the numerous defrosting sequences when the outside temperature approaches 0\u00b0. The MyDATEC sales representative has just advised me to take temperature readings at the unit level and communicate them to him in order to determine if the fan settings need to be optimized.<\/p>\n

This allows me to testify to the quality of the after-sales service.<\/p>\n

Moreover, as I kept the ducts of the old double flow system, I notice a significant drop in temperature at the level of certain air inlets, which suggests that modifications may be necessary to insulate these ducts or install new ones.<\/p>\n

I’m taking power consumption readings, but it’s too early to draw any conclusions.<\/p>\n
